Training your pup to understand requests and to consistently follow them can be tough. We will discuss how to train your puppy at home using proven training techniques, the use of rewards during training, and how to teach your puppy to understand the 6 basic requests used every day – look, sit, come, stay, away and down.
Socialisation is one of the most valuable experiences you can provide for your puppy. The crucial age to start is between 6 and 16 weeks of age. By attending our puppy preschool classes, your puppy will be exposed to new experiences in a safe and controlled manner. They will meet and be handled by different people, experience a new environment and activities, and best of all meet other puppies of a similar age. A well socialized puppy is less likely to experience issues such as fear aggression and anxiety in the long term.
Our Puppy Preschool classes run for 5 weeks, with each class lasting around an hour. The total cost is $110 per puppy. To be eligible, your pup must have had his or her first vaccination and be between the ages of 6 and 16 weeks. Our instructors, Louise and Alison, are qualified, experienced and passionate about helping your puppy become a happy and healthy member of your family.
