Cat vaccines protect against serious diseases such as Feline Panleukopenia, Feline Herpesvirus, and Calicivirus.

They support herd immunity, reduce costly treatments, and are legally required in some areas, making them essential for responsible pet care.

Schedules

Brought home a new kitten? They’ll need their first vaccinations between 6-8 weeks of age, with core vaccines given every 3-4 weeks until 16 weeks. Boosters are then needed annually or every 1-3 years.

Non-core vaccines, like those for Feline Leukaemia Virus, are given based on lifestyle. Regular vaccinations help keep cats healthy throughout their lives.

Diseases

Cats can be affected by a variety of serious diseases, including Feline Panleukopenia and Feline Leukaemia Virus. These illnesses can cause severe symptoms such as lethargy, loss of appetite, and even death if left untreated.

Some diseases, such as Feline Leukaemia, are more common in outdoor cats or those in multi-cat households.
